Had brunch here for my birthday. It was really good. They have very diverse set of food and drink menu. Food presentation/taste both equally good. Attentive service. Would definitely return to try other items on menu. Thank you for little birthday treat at end.

I had the red thai curry omelette and it was very delicious! It was a different option and I normally don’t see on a brunch menu but the flavours worked so well with the omelette! I was surprised and happy with my choice. They also have a large selection of gluten free options - which I’ll be diving into next time. I also enjoyed my pumpkin matcha something else that I hadn’t tried before and the flavours complemented each other! Definitely will be back to enjoy these dishes :)

I really enjoyed the fried chicken burger, the chicken is crispy, flavourful, and fresh. My husband had the steak and was perfectly cooked to medium. The waitress is kind and loved her energy. We just moved in the area, it's nice to know we have a nice spot to have dinner close by.

We went in for brunch and got a pork belly benny, the chicken salt fries with hot honey, and the mango hotcakes - which were all so delicious! The hot honey was an add on and really tasty but we found that it over powered the chicken salt (we couldn’t taste it). Pork belly was flavourful and juicy and cooked quite perfectly. The mango hot cakes were light and fluffy, not too sweet which we loved. Food was plated very aesthetically and the restaurant interior was also exquisite and nice to look at. Our servers were fast and sweet! We’ll be back for dinner and cocktails soon :)

Don’t know how I feel about this place. Came for early dinner for 5. Place is barely empty. Service was meh. She came checked on us 2-3x, could have give us info about happy hour. Both servers looked like they don’t want to be there Food presentation was good: Food was bland. Had Rose Rigatoni on veggies, you’d expect partial load of Veges but centimeter size of zucchini, tomatoes etc We’re seated @ corner by washroom “ no lights “ but natural light from window

First impressions are good. We ordered the eggs Benedict with zucchini and eggplant. The dish is delicious, no complaints 10/10. The food did take a little longer than expected, but that's understandable as this is a little more upscale than your average eggs Benny. Prices were very reasonable, orange juice is fresh all around a cute café with good food will no doubt be a great brunch spot. Ps. I took a bite and I knew I was gonna leave a good review, they deserve it that's why there is a bite missing from my potato.

Ruex Cafe & Bar – A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood! Today we visited Ruex Cafe & Bar, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It’s conveniently located close to our home with easy parking, which was a great start. The ambience is amazing – a perfect blend of a cozy cafe and a lively bar. The vibe and decor are thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot for any time of day. We ordered the Crispy Ranch Chicken Burger and Pasta, both of which were absolutely delicious. After our meal, we enjoyed a fresh coffee and dessert – everything was served to perfection. The highlight of our visit was meeting Jasmine, the owner of Ruex. She personally came to greet us and asked about our experience. She’s incredibly humble and respectful, which added a special touch to our visit. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon for brunch!

Came on a Tuesday morning for what we were hoping to be a pleasant breakfast experience, our order of sandwich and waffles came out 45 minutes after we ordered. By this time we had to ask to confirm if our food was still coming out and was informed then that there’s only 1 chef behind the line.as much as we appreciate the apologetic behaviour it was hard to watch multiple people (there were only 2 tables along us) which meant it wasn’t very busy also complain about their food and wait time. We got asked multiple times if we wanted drinks from the menu to order but we said no because we didn’t need to. After waiting 45 mins, eating out food halfway through then she offered a complimentary drink. Kind gesture but again, at that point it wasn’t going to make much of a difference The woman that was serving us was a a bit uncomfortable to watch with the way she was handling the situation and they way she spoke to us seemed like there’s not a lot of customer business experience behind it. Especially for a higher end restaurant. Food- sandwich was bland and nothing special about it Waffles were extremely soaked in pistachio paste/spread from top middle to bottom that there was no balance between the waffles and the pistachio. It’s a bit hard to see on the beginning photo but the top and inside of the waffle was so heavy in pistachio was genuinely not a pleasant experience.
